About the Woodville Lacrosse Club - The Warriors

The Woodville Lacrosse Club is located in the north western suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The Club has a long and proud history, stretching back to 1899, and has been through good times and bad times to become one of Australia's premier clubs today.

Players of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the Warriors. The Club fields teams in both the men's and women's competitions, at senior and junior level. In season 2011 the Warriors are entering 3 senior men's, 2 senior women's, 4 junior boys' and 5 junior girls' teams. In addition to the regular season, the Club has members participating in off-season social and indoor (non-contact and box) lacrosse competitions.

The Warriors have been strong in recent years, being premiers in the Men's State League competition from 1998 to 2002 and again in 2005, 2007 and 2008; and premiers in the Women's League Reserve competition in 2004. The Club achieved ultimate success in 2008 when the men's league team won the inaugural national club competition, the Australian Club Championship.
