2008 Champions of Australia

Woodville's Men's League team were crowned as the Australian Men's Club Champions after defeating Eltham in a tough, physical encounter at Finsbury Lacrosse Field on Saturday, 7 June.

Scores were locked away 10 goals each at three quarter time, but the Warriors netted 3-1 in the last quarter, which became quite willing at one point, to take out the game 13-11.

Thanks to ACC sponsor Graham Hobbs from the Eureka Group, Woodville also scored a cheque for $2,500.
