2007 Lacrosse SA State League Premiers

Woodville capped off a tremendous undefeated season with a triumphant 14-8 victory over arch nemesis Glenelg at the Port Adelaide Hockey Club grounds on Saturday 25 August.

After a tight tussle in the first half, with scores locked at 4 apiece, the Warriors broke the Seahawks' shackles in the premiership quarter to take a commanding 9-5 lead. Woodville continued their dominance in the final quarter to take a deserved victory in what no one would have predicted at the beginning of the year to be an undefeated campaign. Club Chairman, elder statesman, and long overdue first time league premiership winner Charles Manning had a dream match in the cage and was awarded the President's Medal for the Best and Fairest player on the ground.
