Game postponed due to Referee unavailability???

Round 10 of the Lacrosse SA Men's 'A' Grade competition was supposed to see the Warriors take on Glenelg at Findon Oval on Saturday 19 June at 2:45pm. However the game was postponed due to the unavailability of referees. Both clubs were willing to play the game with lesser accredited umpires but this was deemed to be unacceptable by the Referees' Committee. The 'A' Grade competition in supposed to be the pinnacle of club lacrosse in South Australia and one would have thought that something could have been arranged to ensure this game was not cancelled. Perhaps an 'A' Reserves or 'B' Grade game could have been postponed to allow the 'A' Grade game to go ahead as scheduled. Now this fixture has to be replayed at a later date (yet to be announced) that suits both clubs and more than likely will mean a double header weekend for both teams.
